Castle...

... in Bad Muskau :) It is surrounded by a huge park created by Fürst Pückler. He used to travel a lot and found the idea of the English parks that are not just gardens but real landscapes so wonderful that he wanted one here :) Walking further away from the castle the park gets more natural and you wouldn’t think it is still ‘created’, but it is.... you can see the castle from almost everywhere in the park, it always is the eye of the park... but you never can see the whole castle, only parts. It’s the same with over points in the park.... The castle, the castle ground full of flowers and trees from all over the world and part of the park is in Germany... it’s about a third of the whole area... the other two thirds are Polish and you must cross a double bridge over the river Neiße :) The whole area is open to everyone without a fence... so at some point you wouldn’t even regonize that you left the Fürst Pückler Park :)
Our two pastors invite their staff on a outing once a year... this was this year’s trip :) It’s been a wonderful day and very interesting :) Extra is taken from Poland
