A day of travel

The only picture I took today and an accurate summary of what it’s been like.

We left the campsite at 7.30am, took the ferry and docked in Poole at 12.30pm, arrived at Groove Cottage at 7.00pm and then finally home at 8.00pm. A long day of travel.

But lots of time to reflect on the best holiday. Despite the weather, it has been amazing. I love France. I think I’d forgotten just how much I love France. It’s been two weeks absolutely jam packed full of my favourite things: family, food and fun.

So grateful for such a wonderful time away with my family.
