Interesting Insulators

There are days when R L Stevenson's lines:
The world is so full of such a number of things
That I'm sure we should all be as happy as kings.
flashes through my mind, and it's such a quandary to choose only one capture of beauty...

Went for a walk along the Newhall Valley with M and P in the late afternoon sunshine. Saw reflections and red bridges and benches in the sunlight and long-distance views of the towers of the Parish church, and the Town Hall.

But, in the end, went for this view of the insulators on the pylon at the entrance to the Valley. I am n o great lover of modern technology, but have to admit that these looked interesting, at least, in the sunshine, against the flawless blue sky.
