One-and-a-half violets

This is what I like about blipping - it makes me make the effort to go outdoors and look harder than usual. And spotting this little violet and its bud-dy are my reward, which I'm very happy to share with you. (Incidentally, all over the garden, there were lots more little violets, so the title refers only to this photo.)

Dull again, but mild and dry, and with just enough breeze to make it worthwhile pegging out the washing.
