Up the creek

Went up to the allotment and put in an early shift before zooming home via the market (happily the Pie Dolly still had one left for D) and then to the Vaults to meet up with a former colleague who found himself in Edinburgh for several reasons (none of them festival related!). We had a very pleasant lunch and blether, then walked back towards the bus stop for him to head back into town. I was rather surprised to see two visitors in an inflatable paddling around the Water of Leith, but I suppose that by now I should expect the unexpected.
