The first Rhododendron of the year

Rhododendrons aren't usually out in bloom until about May so a real bonus to see this one today. Such a welcome sight - on a dull and dreary day. Lifted my spirits and made me realise that however bad things are there is always a little glimmer of hope - sometimes we need to slow up and really look for these instead of always hurrying by - and then we are rewarded. Thank you, Lord, for showing me this today and for confirming that YOU are still in control whatever happens in the world!
