Belated

Bailey and I were up early this morning and on the road by a quarter past seven. Not too much traffic but the service station we always stop at was the busiest I have seen it on a trip over and you know it's going to be a warm day when it is 19° at around 9am on Saddleworth Moor. We were on the other side in almost exactly three hours and Bailey made himself at home, finding the best places to cool off. 

Out to lunch at The Highwayman to celebrate a belated birthday for Mum. Tasty food and a very nice pint of Swan Blonde in lovely surroundings . Everyone's pudding plates were clean but some of my ham came home in my handbag for Bailey.
