Set off from Cresswell at 10.30 and arrived home at 14.30. Stopped off on the way for dinner and pulled up in a layby on the Derbyshire moors to let a car with smoke belching out of it get further down the road before we set off again. The smoke was that bad we couldn't see the car for smoke and wasn't worth the risk of overtaking it.

Lovely to see that our eldest sons had kept the house tidy while we were away, although they could have mown the lawn. That was my last job of the day before I put my feet up.

Had a great holiday with great memories too.
