Jolly Tall
Another very sunny hot day. We all headed to Topsham taking our favourite walk along the estuary to get there. We arrived as the stalls were setting up for the start of the Topsham Charter Day activities. Topsham received its Charter in August 1300 and this was the 4th Charter Day celebrating the occasion. It was fairly busy and by the time we found somewhere to eat we missed the start of the Parade but nevertheless we enjoyed seeing the various 1920's themed window shop displays, the different activities taking place and the wandering stilt walker, see todays blip as well as a Penny Farthing and another old bicycles being ridden through the streets. A Gin Festival was also taking place as well as music in the evening but we didn't stay for that.
