our space
A day of fringe activity. We got out of the house relatively early to catch a free stand-up show - Alex Farrow - on philosophy and teaching. The show was totally packed and really enjoyable. I think the kids were slightly mythed. In the afternoon we saw the Handlebards performing Much ado about nothing. This now the forth year we saw them perform. Still excellent and well worth seeing. Finally we saw Jason Harvey perform MacNaughton a monologue about a 19th century Glaswegian who attempted to assassinate the prime minister Robert Peel.
Between show we enjoyed the sunshine and general buzz. I particularly liked how the Chamber Street was appropriated as a skate park.
