Lacey Blue and Falling Stars!

23° C  - 5 mph Wind  -  Sunny.  A lot going on in Montrose today  -  a classic car gathering  -  light planes using the air strip left over from WW2!  I was hoping to get some interesting blips, but the heat and the crowds got the better of me and I came home minus a blip. Not a problem  -  the garden is alive with hoverflies, bees and butterflies!  The Monbretia  -  also known as Falling Stars  -  looked good against the Lacey Blue  -  also known as Russian Sage or Perovskia atriplicifolia.  I don’t know why I haven’t blipped them together before  -  I find the contrast in colour fantastic. You can even eat the Lacey Blue flowers!  The leaves are poisonous though!
