Dragon

Only a male common darter I believe, but it still stayed still for just long enough for me to grab this shot.  I'm rather pleased with the level of detail I managed to get on this occasion... and you have to admit the gorgeous cloudless sky makes a wonderful colour contrast backdrop for this chap.

Its been 27C again - on the August Bank Holiday Weekend in the UK - its practically unheard of.  Which I guess means that its probably a sure sign of climate change :-(
