Hverir

The Hverir geo-thermal area is like being on another planet, with fumaroles and bubbling mud pools. We climbed high above it (the equivalent of 46 floors according to my phone) to avoid being gassed, and gazed in awe.

This afternoon we climbed pseudo-craters - these can only be found here and on Mars.

Tomorrow to the coast and then back towards Reykjavík on Tuesday - I’ll fill in the gaps when I get a chance! Loads of extras if you’re interested.
