Black Witches' Butter

I did look around for something with the number 500 in it, Young1 and I even walked further than we intended to down a road where the council or a contractor had painted numbers on the ground obviously for some road repairs but they ran out at 340!

It seems fair to post a fungi for my 500th image as they are something that has dominated my journal. If you have the time you can have a look at previous blip fungi offerings here.

While hunting for a blip today Young1 found this little plaque half buried in soil under the Oak tree that the witches' butter was growing on, we left the plaque on the branches of the tree hoping it wouldn't be lost again.
