Finally, Happy Ne'erday.

As before, it is 'the law' that you eat steak pie to see in the New Year. For those worried about the eat by date of my pie, worry no longer. Today was the big day. E came up and received her presents, which were taking up a living room seat, as shown yesterday. After we'd had several rounds of jingle bells and "Happy Christmas to you" to the tune of happy birthday, we started on The Beast.

Huge. Massive, Delicious. Filling. Army-sized. All words I'd use for the meal we've just eaten. Don't think I'll be moving anywhere anytime soon! In fact, is it bed time yet?
