Sun Worshiper

Another extremely hot day saw us heading to one of our largest local garden centres in search of a belated birthday present for Mum. Mission accomplished, we headed out in search of somewhere quieter and cooler for the afternoon.

We ended up a Great Comp, a garden in the Kentish Weald area near Sevenoaks. Leaving Mum on a shaded bench next to a trickling fountain listening to the cricket, I explored the garden with its lush planting. We then grabbed a drink and ice cream from the tearoom, before braving the heat and heading home. All in all, a good day.
