Happy new year!

Ah new year. The day of resolutions, promises, good intentions and hangovers! Not for us! We spent NYE watching a film with my mama and then spent midnight singing the boy back to sleep :) He was insistent on seeing in the new year. Mad to think that a year ago I was saying "happy new year" to my family with a secret little ball of cells growing in my womb.

It was such a nice day today that we decided last minute to check the tide times down on Southerndown and go for a quick walk to blow the cobwebs away. Southerndown is a rocky beach so a pram was a definite no (though there were some crazy people with double prams there, Oli had to help one stranded woman with her pram, whoops!) so I wrapped the boy. It was only right that we took the nautilus to the sea!

Mam came with us ("off-roading on crutches, hardcore nanny!) and we had a little wander, took a few snaps and then retreated to the car for some tea and boob. Noah had boob ;) It was so bitterly cold, the kind of cold that creeps under all they layers but it was so nice to have the wind blowing the old year away. Excuse my hair in this pic, it was ever so slightly out of control.

2012 was one hell of a year. I wonder what 2013 will bring for our little family <3
