Boris the spider

evening all

I had been trying to get a photo of one of our resident arachnids in the middle of it's web on and off most of the day, but a combination of a gusty day and a snub nosed macro lens kept the web blowing into the tripod and I became structurally integral to it , which upset the spider immensely, causing it to keep wandering off onto the refuge of a nearby wall.

So, propping up the wall with my head and a tight negotiation with it was the best I could do,
