Another very warm and sunny day. We have spent the morning tidying the garden and cutting the grass. I noticed the berries on one of my Dogwood shrubs are starting to turn white, the birds will love them.

The extra is a not very good photo of a rather strange flying wasp-like creature which came into our lounge last night. It was completely black and buzzed very loudly. The body was about an inch long. Can anyone identify it? I was too scared to go close, but my husband managed to get it into a container and put it outside!
