Notes: Up early and went to the pool for a swim and sat in the hot tub - lovely morning but no sea fog. I made coffee and we started putting some things away. Went to try a place for brunch at 10a that wasn't open so headed to another in Carlsbad and waited well over an hour but food was great. Had a bellini/mimosa while we waited and talked. Finally ate at the bar, avocado toast with lobster and then I had fried chicken and pancakes and Carolyn got a short rib benedict. Back and organized and did more around the house. Relaxed then with meat/cheese/fruit plate with wine and sat outside.
