Tropical Essex

Another scorcher of a day! If we could just have a bit of a breeze about I 'd be happier lol!

Was hoping to visit one of our favourite NGS Open Gardens today but it was just too hot to venture very far - especially with bank holiday traffic heading to the coast - so we've had a quiet day.  Been up to see the kitties we're looking after and even did a spot of gardening for the owners as we found shady spots to enjoy! Managed to spot this small tortoiseshell up there too!

And this afternoon I've started sorting through old photo albums and having a very good clearout!  I have so many photo albums in the wardrobe that are mainly filled with pictures of flowers and animals that the time has come to be ruthless! And I now rarely have prints printed but have them put in photo books by the printing companies that it makes life easier - and more manageable storage wise! Thrown away a few old albums so far and countless photos - but there's millions more to sort through! Have got some nice storage boxes to put them in now so looking forward to sorting them into a variety of subjects!  One of those jobs that will be ongoing I'm sure!
