Gazebo

It was great to have a bit of a lie-in today. The original plan was to drive to Bath for the day, but Bank Holiday traffic might make it a tedious trip.

I really should have done a blog post/new Newsletter for the website, but I am not inspired to write something that anyone is going to want to read! G tried more ways of staying cool. One thing is to move the umbrella to keep the sun off the carpet in the front room. I guess facing South has some big disadvantages on a hot day!

We headed to Cranleigh around 5 pm. G has left her iPad charging cable up North, so needs another one. It was lovely in Cranleigh. Really quiet and a few places were open. We walked up and down the main street and G has now seen the Pom Pom tree for herself!!

We drove back the scenic route (via Wonersh) and happened to see Chris watering the lawn in Church, so stopped to say "Hello". He insisted on a cup of tea/squash, so we had a chat with him. It was dark by the time we got home, so dinner straight away and now I have caught up with my blips!
