artichoke

back dated blip! have not been on here for ages!!  so while we were away on holiday in the lake district we became National  Trust members again.   Sounds like an old person thing today I grant you...but I really do love seeing the old houses and gardens and love the history behind them. today (sunday) we headed off to Newark Park..sun was out in force, kids were tired after a late night bobbing, so me and hubby had a lovely lunch in the grounds followed by a stroll to see what had changed. it was a chance for the camera's to be out with no hurrying around or crys of we're bored!! you find some intresting things out n about  and I just loved spotting these artichokes in the flower beds
