No breaks

Cornwall Park was especially lovely today. Recent rain and end-of-summer sun made leaves and needles glow. As we approach descents like this on the trail, my mom sometimes becomes a runaway train, as if the break cables had been cut. I take her arm to slow her down and feel how little muscle tone she has. But still, she can do this.
