Early Morning Rowers

I left home early as I needed to cross London and get to Foots Cray before the rush hour. It’s definitely quieter on the roads in the school holidays but it still takes over an hour. As it was such a beautiful morning I drove down by the river and the canoeists were already going through their paces.
I love canoeing on holiday and R and I had a fantastic day on the Dordogne once, leisurely floating along and stopping for a picnic on the way with flow of the river carrying us to our destination.
It all looks quite serious and competitive here in Richmond.
