View from the Ramparts

Day 2 of the Craft Symposium at Falkland. Interesting presentations on the development of Falkland interspersed with conducted walks around the Royal Burgh, Falkland Estate and around Falkland Palace where today’s Blipfoto was taken from.

The view is of Falkland Square, which Outlander fans will recognise as Inverness.

The extra is the ramparts at the entrance to Falkland Palace and the Blipfoto was taken from the left hand side tower rampart.

The day finished with a very pleasant supper and discussions with this year’s SPAB Scholars; always a very impressive and knowledgeable group.
