Viking hand

My left hand. The puckering on the palm below the ring and little/pinkie fingers is Dupuytren's Contracture, a genetic condition more commonly known as "Viking Disease". Over the next 10 or 20 years time these two fingers will gradually curl over, becoming impossible to extend as the tendons thicken and shorten, and they will then need to be operated on to open them up again. I know this because I have watched various of my relatives go through it, most recently my mum.

My eyes colour is grey, another trait associated with Scandanavians.

My daughter has grey eyes too, but not my son. I hope their hands work out OK.
