Butterfly.

I thought I heard someone at the door this morning, so came downstairs to find it was just a flyer for a new gym opening up locally.  A few years too late for me I'm afraid.  But as I opened the door I saw this butterfly on the Hebe in the front garden.  Oh well, I thought by the time I have gone up to get my camera it will have gone.  It was still there so I was able to get several shots..  I liked this one, not very clear because it kept opening and closing it's wings.  But this allowed me to see its dark underside, so I think it is a male small tortoiseshell.
