Walking through less touristy parts...

...of Sliema, you can't  help noticing the many first floor balconies which are not as elegant as they used to be. I particularly liked the one above a quick sale property agency (which clearly was unable to off-load its own office premises either).

Just to show that there are some fine examples of renovation, I include the extra which was taken a very short distance from the blip shot.
