A plague of butterflies??

I don’t think I’ve ever seen so many butterflies in the garden as I have seen these last few days.
At least 15 Peacocks, 6 red admirals, 5 painted ladies, 4 tortoiseshells and a partridge in a pear tree.
Whoops, sorry I got distracted there.
I love watching them flitting about from bloom to bloom but I definitely reckon that it is the red admirals that “rule the roost”
