Buried Treasure

I was showing off recently when I sent my daughter a photo of some carrots I've grown because hers didn't seem to be growing very well.
Well, that'll teach me to show off! I came up here and look at these beauties. She has so many she asked if I would chop and blanche some while she was at work and pop them in the freezer. 
I've had a nice day with little Lucy. We walked Amelia to school (Lucy was in the buggy).
Then went into Airdrie so I could get some reading glasses as the ones I brought were not doing my eyes good. I had to go up a strength. Bought a newspaper - don't know why I bothered - same old, same old.
Had a wander round what shops are left - things must be bad, even Poundland has closed down!
Lucy was really good , I thought she'd be asking for things but not at all. Mum and Dad have never made that mistake of buying things for them when they're out so it never even occurs to them to ask.
I'm having a little uke practice now while I have a bit of peace. Amelia has gone ice skating and Lucy is playing with Lego. :-)
