Late Summer Profusion
Lots of late summer colour - the annuals, which were put in just to fill spaces between the hydrangeas and paeonias have been gorgeous and are now enjoying a leaving party!
In this section of the border there’s Hydrangea Lady in Red; Caryopteris clandonensis; Thalictrum delavyei “Hewitt’s Double “; Antirrhinum “Liberty” and Scabiosa purpurea. In the background is the monster cosmos “Dazzler “.
Lovely, lovely day - garden tour at Logan Botanic Gardens- the head gardener is so knowledgeable. Coffee with friends in the Potting Shed Bistro followed by a delicious and virtuous lunch.
