Tallinn

After an overnight boat trip, we arrived in the mist into Tallinn this morning at 9am (see extra). The warmest day of our trip, we elected for a taxi to our overnight accommodation deep in the heart of the beautiful old city.

Checked in, we walked around the old city. It is just beautiful, fabulous old city walls (second extra) and beautifully kept buildings. Mid-afternoon we dipped back into our apartment for a rest. We’re right on the main square (see last extra for our balcony view) so finding food was easy, even for vegetarian/vegan options for Rosie.

After dinner we climbed up to the high point of the old city for great views into the new city before watching a beautiful sunset from a fantastic and popular viewpoint (see main blip). We set off home tomorrow but this is another place we must return to.
