Crocosmia Emily McKenzie

A busy day so a blip taken as a bit of an emergency.  On our last visit to the garden centre I spotted this "Montbretia" it is quite unlike any I have seen before the flower is about 5 cm (2") in diametre.  Obviously we bought it.

It is actually Crocosmia x crocsmiifolia a hybrid between Crocosmia aurea and C. pottsii the cross was developed in the 1880s in France.
