High time..!

The tallest sunflower has opened! Not sure when it happened but I noticed it today when I took my lunch out into the garden to sit in the shade of our majlis/gazebo. It’s not a big head so I think I was right, that all its energy went into growing and growing.

Gosh, it’s been so hot again today! I’ve still managed a pile of ironing and to make a big lasagne for lunch here with friends tomorrow and to dead head my pots. If I didn’t, I’d be dozing too often! This heat is really soporific!

Oh, and I finished my book and booked a lunch for Friday. GadgetKid and G go home too soon so we have to grab time with them when they are still here.
