Abersoch beach

We have visited this area four times now, staying just to the west of Abersoch, but never walked on the beach there.

So before leaving today we walked from our hotel down towards the beach, and then along it and past the yacht club to view the headland beyond which lies Llanbedrog.

Nowhere near as busy as the previous day I guess. But still plenty of families enjoying themselves.

We came across a lot of stranded jellyfish. All small to medium sized blobby disks. And then this much more interesting specimen - the full cap and tentacles.

Lunch at Porth Tocyn. And then the journey home. It’s been a great break. And we have been amazingly lucky with the weather. The day before we left it was full and grey. And tomorrow heavy rain is forecast. Sometimes, things do turn out much better than you hope.
