Blue skies and lightning
Our last day on the other side with a plan to drive home after tea. So, Dad and I headed down to Morecambe this morning having decided that it was too warm for Bailey; he stayed on the sofa. This shot of the Stone Jetty is definitely brighter than the last time I took it and there were certainly a lot more folk about.
I packed the car up after tea whilst Dad took Bailey for one last walk and then we headed back over the tops. A bit of a hold up on the M6 but then some information on the sat nav sent me done the A1 and the A57. And that is when the lightning started and the torrential rain just after Dunham Bridge. By the time we aquaplaned home, the rain had stopped but the lightning continued and the house is incredibly warm. Hopefully, the storm will have the right effect on temperature.
