Hot Day

It was too hot for most birds today, even though I got out early. We set a record for the day at 98 and tomorrow may beat that. It will be the first day of school and there is no air conditioning in our schools!
Grateful today for...errands completed. A pedicure. A bowl full of fresh tomatoes straight out of our friends’ garden.
