One More Anniversary

47 years ago today, August 27, 1972, we saw our first Grateful Dead show, in the blazing heat of Veneta, Oregon. Turns out it was one for the ages in Dead lore. 103 degrees that day, and 99 here today. Bunch of crazy hippies that day, and a couple of them still hanging around. “If you get confused, listen to the music play.”
