Wasp

I listened to the political news this morning and decided the best thing I could do was take a blip of a wasp on the fennel. If it isn't a wasp it's one of those clever insects in disguise to fool predators. We are careering further into political crisis here.

Change of plan yesterday when the car was bumped from behind at a roundabout. Thank goodness I had no precious grandchildren (or indeed any passengers) in the back. No damage done but it gives you a fright and makes you think about what might have happened.

Apart from the wasp blip I've made an apple cake from the windfalls, some cheese scones and what I hope will be a comforting dahl for tonight's quick meal. Community Council  meetings resume tonight after the summer and we're both going.
