Handspun

This collection of handspun is todays blessing. It includes the haunui I picked up 2010 straight after the fire and spun last year. a very soft yarn and a dream to spin. a rather over spun blue and purple silk which has been hanging out to relax it,blue and a merino/silk blend which is the colours of the Beauchamp Clan in the outlander swap. These three yarns will be knitted next month into a shawl called Daybreak as February's KAL ( knit along). When sitting on the floor looking through the basket for likely candidates for this project I found myself just sitting and feeling the yarn, the world around me was quiet and I just felt at ease. A nice wee moment :)
