Fading fast

We have visitors this weekend, there wasn't time to take down the decorations, make the beds, tidy up and make a lasagne so the decorations will have to stay up til Sunday now. Which is right and proper as that is in fact Twelfth Night. I must admit I don't like taking the Christmas decs down, it's a bit sad and I miss the bright colours and the pretty lights that really cheer a grey January day. I have some ornamental lighted twigs in tall pots so I shall keep those going and remember to light candles at every opportunity. At least silk Poinsettias don't fade.....
