Bringing in the Harvest

The Combine’s have been working hard and lots of the fields now have bales in them although some have already been taken away and the fields ploughed ready for the next crop.
A cloudy day followed over night rain.The owls were very vocal at 4 am , there must have been at least 3.I saw one fly off from the top of the oak tree.
We went over to the Spud Hut to get some veg for dinner, much tastier than the veg from the supermarket. Also went to the Honesty Shed for some eggs.There were lots of lovely calves in another shed but the Farmer was muck spreading and the smell was terrible so we did not hang around ;)
