A light in the darkness*

This is an old church candle holder which I attained from an ex colleague. She used it as, and I acquired it as, a plant holder! It was only after I received it I noticed it had a pin in the middle to hole a candle. And that it now what it is: a candle holder.

It may have come from a French church as she lived in France for a few years.

I hope the effect is interesting. It is a single candle with three wicks and it was taken on a ten second exposure. I have a steady hand...
