The Royal Albert Hall

We got up very early today and headed back to London. And today she played her bassoon on stage at the RAH with the BBC proms team and musicians from the BBC Concert Orchestra. she’s done it before on clarinet but this year they got to do a concert and what they created was really quite substantial for the time they had.

Oh and I played too. On a lemon shaker. And a bell.

Oh oh and our lovely blip friends came. The kids had a wonderful splash in Hyde park afterwards. After we’d been denied entry to the V&A “because a bassoon is too big”.... but a cello was allowed jn!
