Fuji Velvia 50
Not an image I shot today, in fact I shot it in 2004 the year before I moved over to digital (a Nikon D70s, which is also incidentally the camera I started shooting blipfoto with back in 2012).
The location is Derwentwater in the Lakes, such a beautiful part of the world. I spent a lot of time there in the 90s and early 2000s, but not enough since then.
I came across this photograph today as I was looking through old slides and negatives to do a bit of scanning. I think this was shot on a Nikon FM2n. I sold the Nikon about 5 years ago, which was one of my worst photographic decisions, as it was a lovely camera that had been all over the world with me (For film though, I still use Nikon with an F3 and an FE2 (as well as a Leica M7). It was shot on Fuji Velvia 50. I remember it being expensive then, but the price now to shoot and process it is almost obscene!
It's been nice shooting film again lately, and I have some rolls in the process of being developed right now (although, I would prefer to develop them myself). I wouldn't mind doing a film month with just film for blip, but I am really bad at keeping track of what I shoot on what day! We'll see...
