Interlaken to Bad Raguz 140 miles

Last night turned wet and thundery and after a restless night we woke to dry conditions. We were on the road by 8am and within 15 minutes the heavens opened (bottom left) although some of the light ahead was fabulous! A quick detour and coffee stop at the Reichenbach Falls before heading up over the Sustenpass, passing the glacier on the way...it was a tad chilly at the top.

Top left is our lunch time view from the Klausenpass at 1948 m and by now the altitude sickness was very active again. Heading down the pass after lunch the conditions were awful with the added hazard of cows on the road!

We were all pretty glad to reach our destination this afternoon and luckily it’s very well appointed. Typically the weather changed as soon as we arrived and it’s been a lovely evening.
