Harvest homing
A run on the beach before breakfast with a low tide and a very still sea. The forecast for today was promising so a picnic was packed and the 124 bus identified for a spin out to Luffness. Here a lush crop of brambles was picked before walking on beside fields of poppies and barley towards Archerfield. Another 124 bus took us to North Berwick. As the wind picked up we enjoyed our picnic in the lee of the harbour wall, but did not pay almost £40 for a lobster and double dipped chips!
