Nonagenarian

Family meal out tonight to celebrate the massive achievement of my Mum reaching the great age of 90!

She’s still got all her marbles and remembers stuff that I have forgotten about. Long may that last! Her flat is like at Day room at a hospital covered in flowers and cards and and the residents and friends of her sheltered housing made a great fuss of her with cake and cards and fun times. She is the oldest there and the longest there (2006).

We picked her up around four and brought her here then we met the rest of the gang at Kisa for a celebratory meal including a fab cake brought in with candles lit by the waitress. We sung happy birthday and she managed to blow out the candles without losing her dentures LOL!!

And we do a proper party on Saturday here :)
