Home grown vegetables

Had a lovely afternoon sitting in a friends lovely garden. We are making the most of the sunny warm weather while it lasts.

Rob has created wonderful vegetable plots in raised beds. My blip shows the bed containing tomatoes and runner beans, with sweet corn in the next bed and lettuces in the big pots.

There are 17 apple trees in the garden, and a Victoria Plum tree. We were given a big bag of freshly picked plums.

Our evening meal included a quiche made by Yvonne, with courgettes , tomatoes and onions grown by Rob. We took a box of our duck eggs so the next quiche made can have the eggs as well.
